What to ExpectJoin me in beautiful Ubud, Bali for 4 days and 5 nights of rest, stillness and inspiration.
The scent of sandalwood, the crow of a rooster, the visual explosion of bougainvillea and frangipani, the taste of ginger and watermelon – a visit to Bali is an invitation to expand all our senses.
Together we’ll step off the tourist trail and witness the beauty, reverence and charm of the people, food and traditions of Bali. A side of Bali that is rarely shown through standard holiday itineraries.
From dawn to dusk, our itinerary includes heart-filling activities like:
soaking in spring fed swimming pools
learning about exotic spices while making delicious Balinese curries
wandering rice fields at sunrise
experiencing a traditional holy water purification ceremony
nourishing ourselves with a divine day spa experience
space for sleep ins and early nights.
❋ authentic experiencesWe’ll immerse ourselves in culture, food and spirituality of Bali, while taking plenty of time to rest and nourish ourselves.
❋ party of 6Small enough that everyone’s names are known by day 2, our group is intimate so we can move as one through our days.
❋ a host on the groundOur local driver will greet us at the airport, guide us for most of our days, and deliver us back for our flight home.
❋ adventure and restWe have a perfectly programmed schedule mixing local excursions with plenty of down time and rest back at the guesthouse.
sample itineraryThe rhythm of our days in Ubud
Some mornings we start early to avoid the heat, other days we start slow. Rest is always built in, as well as sundowners together at the end of the day. We have early dinners each evening to allow for a good night’s sleep.

Our divine accommodation
Step through ornate doorways and retreat into the shady oasis of the Honeymoon Guesthouse.
An ancient, traditional Balinese compound surrounded by holy statues, lush gardens and traditional architecture, staying at the Honeymoon Guesthouse is a very special experience.
It’s walkable to many sights, shops and spas, yet also a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle.
We’ll each have our own deluxe air-conditioned room with four poster double bed and mosquito nets, and our own spacious bathroom.
Breakfast is onsite at the Honeymoon Kitchen and our cooking school will also be held at the Honeymoon Guesthouse.
Hi, I’m Kate
I’m a writer and meditation teacher in training.
I’ve been visiting Bali for over 15 years and have always returned to the island’s cultural heart, Ubud.
Ubud is a very special place, and I feel rejuvenated, inspired and lighter every time I visit.
It fills my cup, and I know it will fill yours!
My travel philosophy prioritises:
reverence for the community that we are in
supporting the local economy through participating in locally owned experiences
moving through our days with presence and curiosity
